Removal
of a Reactor at Tosco, Linden, NJ

Before the head and cyclones of the reactor at the
Tosco plant in Linden, NJ, were removed and replaced, Gary worked
with Tosco to provide an animated view of the project for all
concerned to visualize. The crane used here was the 2nd largest in
the world. This is an example of a quick, one-day project – the
animation is crude, using a 3D drawing provided by the client –
but it showed and verified the process.

Gary worked with
employees of Interbake Foods to create an animation of their
assembly line machinery. The
process of putting cookies on each side of a slab of ice cream was
followed through to the final packing of the product.
The video was developed for use at a trade show. |

Police
Multifunction Baton

Two NJ
inventors of a versatile, multifunction Baton needed a prototype.
Gary
worked with the inventors on a 3D model. They created a video
presentation with music and voice over, using MAX and an NLE
(Non-linear video editor). Interesting to note that much design
work was done during the creation of the 3D model, to the extent
that a new patent had to be created. |
